Use the current Intel fee disclosure and investment menu, not a third-party list. Compare each option's asset class, benchmark, expense, risk and role in your total portfolio.
Start with current records
Collect the menu, fee disclosure and account allocation
Intel's Form 11-K reports audited plan-level financial information, while participant disclosures and NetBenefits provide the current investment options, prices and participant-level fees. Each document answers a different question.
Download the current fund descriptions, expense information and statement. Record the percentage and dollar amount in each option, including any Intel Stock Fund exposure.
Compare options
Evaluate function before recent performance
Identify the asset class, benchmark, diversification, expense ratio and risk of each option. A target-date fund can be a complete allocation for some participants, while combining it with several overlapping funds can make the result harder to understand.
Recent returns are not a durable selection rule. Compare the allocation with time horizon, withdrawal plans, cash reserves and risk capacity.

Include RSUs, ESPP shares and outside accounts
Intel stock outside the plan still matters to the retirement allocation because salary, benefits and future awards already depend on Intel. Measure employer exposure across every account.
Review annually and after a major vest, layoff, retirement or rollover. An advisor can help organize allocation and fee comparisons without implying that the website itself provides individualized advice.
Frequently asked questions
Questions employees ask next
Where can I find current Intel 401(k) investment options?
Use the current participant investment disclosure and NetBenefits. Public filings provide plan-level information but may not reproduce the participant menu.
Is the cheapest Intel 401(k) fund always the best choice?
No. Cost matters, but the option also needs to fill the right asset-class and risk role in the complete portfolio.
Should Intel RSUs count in my 401(k) allocation?
They should count in the household risk review even though they are held outside the 401(k).
